    For those that may be interested, the info in this post did not apply to my 2013. I can only assume that depending on which factory head unit one has/had the wiring may be different.

    On my 2013, connector IN1 has no provision for the reverse trigger. Spot #11 in connector IN1 is blank. There is no wire in spot #11.
    My reverse trigger wire is found in a connector behind the drivers kick panel. Not sure of the connector designator.

    Just installed a new Ainavito head unit and a new 12 volt camera in the tailgate latch. Did some mods to supply the camera with 12 volts but am having trouble getting the tailgate camera to display on the head unit. When I connect the camera that came with the head unit it will display but not with the tailgate camera.

    Just a side note on cables. If you have access to a now obsolete three lead VCR/DVD cable the one with the Yellow connector is the video. This may have better shielding than the two audio cables.
