Trimming Dakkars for stock shackles

A friend of mine is getting my hand-me-down Dakkars, and I know they need to be trimmed to properly clear factory shackles.

Does anyone have a pic or a measurement showing where to trim the offending leaf? I would eyeball it if it was going on a beater but this is her daily/road trip truck. I've tried searching and I know I've seen a pic somewhere but it was probably buried deep in a thread.
