Have a new kid coming in July. My bourbon is in our hallway closet that I'm going to have to move to make space for extra baby stuff. I know some say garage isn't the best place to store your stuff. But was wondering if I built a cabinet, insulated it a bit to somewhat keep the temp from moving too much if that would be ok? Granted, I'm not keeping bottles for years on on end so does it even matter? Live on the central coast of CA. Any and all input welcome!

TL;DR: Should I keep my bottles in the garage in a cabinet?

Fresh crack! Hot damn I think we have a winner! This has an absolutely fantastic mouth feel. Super viscous with a slow burn and sweet finish. Cheers.

rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
The bottles I keep out in the shop seem to evaporate more rapidly, or something...
It may be the mid afternoon sun that does it....

Fresh crack. It’s been a while since I’ve had this. Still an excellent pour for the price.
    Cheers.

I keep some alcohol in my garage. It does have an HVAC vent and I insulated the garage door. I have not seen any issues with my drinks (wine, beer, distilled). Last Jefferson's and Buffalo Trace I popped opened had been there for 2 or 3 years. No problems. Jeffersons is still only palatable with Pepsi, Buffalo Trace is still good with ice.

What was the asking price of that and the Weller Millennium? I have seen The Weller before for $8k, but never the Double Eagle Very Rare before. I think someone on here posted a pic of them hiding one from their spouse in their office in the past.
