I pickle cucumbers with ghost peppers and they are outstanding. I could have added more sugar to take down the heat. Peppers from last summer were far from duds. Really friggin hot

Been up awhile now since like 0300 or so. It rained all day yesterday off and on. Heavy at times. I was the better part of an hour from the shop on my route. Got a group text that says according to the nurse Mother is hours or days away but is leaning toward hours. Get home around 1830 . Shower and eat and some necessities and head north. It friggin poured making a 1 1/2 hour trip into two or more. Glad I got my fog lights. gonna try to squeeze an hour or two more of sleep..
Nerve wracking. I will need to take a ride later to get my fishing license bc I don’t have my NH one yet. Got my MA though bc ponds/ rivers are close by work. I need to sit by a tranquil spot and think too…..
