What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Saturday I will be doing the Hale Creek run with the BC 4x4 Association this will give me idea of how they are aired down

 

Well this is as good a place as any! What I have done is BOUGHT ONE! After regretfully selling my HiLux (account pic) to get a 2nd Gen, I had to sell it due to a crazy electrical gremlin. I got a 2021 with 49k miles. So far I have put a threaded metal dash mount for phones and radios, a bed rack, Malone Kayak wings and a Harbor freight rifle case. With stickers of course! Wifey says i am a D Kindergartener. All it took for me to ooh and aww over the truck was a box and some D STICKERS!
Now she needs a name....

 

Took about a month but it’s here. McNeil 3in. Also the shipper forgot to pick up my bumper caps so now I’m waiting on those to arrive

 

Time for my annual WoolWax application.
A lot of what I thought was rust turned out to be mud mixed into my last coat of WoolWax.

Maybe one of these years I will pressure wash the underside before applying WoolWax

 

You use both hinges?

 

I would like to know how this is done.

 

She got new shoes today.

 

Not today but last week. CBI Baja Bumper, Baja Designs 20 in light bar, Warn winch, Alpharex headlights, and Weboost added.

 

Wash, clay and wax for the upcoming summer season.

I've said this before and I will say it again, not cleaning your rig thoroughly after wheeling, or anytime you might get mud or mud like debris stuck to the underside/frame, it's just asking for trouble. Dirt and debris hold moisture, and it escapes me right now, but moisture held next to metal causes something.....

 

Anybody used/using on of these??

I have the tyger roll up. Has held up great for 3+ un-garaged years. I wipe it down with 303 about twice over the summer. Good fit, easy to adjust, room to tighten it up if I wanted but as is it doesn’t flap around much at speed

Is that really a $2k plus seat? Didn't see 'Tacoma' as an option on their website. Really nice seat BTW
