Bed cap lifting 24 Tacoma fix

    • With Toyota not having a fix this is the best I could come up with that holds very tight.
    It don’t look too bad looks better than the gap from lifting.
    I’m hard core Toyota guy I’m sorry to say this truck has Quality control issues like this that you don’t expect from Toyota.

    Mine was lifting the day I got it .
    I used 3m tape as you mentioned when I got it but after a while on very hot days after almost a year it started lifting ever so slightly and t was still stuck but a little spongy. So I used the pins they are very tight is hard to get them out with a clip tool.
    It isn’t something that catches your eye as you walk by like the gap and if you’re not a Tacoma owner you wouldn’t notice it’s not stock.
    Thought I would try it and figured
    Worse case I could get new caps and do something different .
    I also ordered the OEM Canadian mud guards to protect my paint the ones on it are crap.
