    My guess is to help avoid dead spots in the tires since the trucks often sit so long without moving before being sold.

    Do you bottom out, or just hit the increased damping zone?

    I bottom out hard. I barely tuck under full compression, but I don’t his even at full turn.

    Find me a good speedbump at 35 and you WILL feel that thing bottom out. I did add about 150 lbs or so up front too though, so that’s a very big factor.

    that’s why I’m asking. Many people think they’re bottoming out, but they’re just hitting the second damping zone of the bilsteins. Sounds like you use your truck pretty hard, so I’m not doubting you, but people think they’re bottoming out in parking lots and are not

    That doesn't bother me if they do that. Trying to save labor hours is OK with me. At least they aren't letting them off the lot underinflated.

    I never carry payload. If I do its a carbon mtn bike. So just to eliminate rake.
