Has anyone installed GoRhino RB20 (or RB30 slim or regular) from a Tundra? The Tacoma size is 80" long and the Tundra is 87" long. With the long bed I am thinking it would be nice to have the running board longer to give additional protection from rocks being thrown up and also could serve as a side bed step. From what I understand I could order the Tacoma mounting brackets and then the 87" running boards and should be able to mount them, but curious if I am missing something that would cause an issue with the longer boards.

I have the RB 20 slim on my Tacoma LB. The Tacoma mount comes with 3 brackets which is quite sturdy on my setup. I think a 4th bracket would be smart for the longer step if you get 2 more. I just positioned mine as far back as I could using the 3 brackets.

@BennettH Thanks that makes sense. How much play side to side do these have when you are mounting them? How close can you get them to the pinch weld? I am trying to get a sense of how far they stick out from the rocker/pinch weld area.

Does this help? I seem to recall setting them fairly close to as far in as they'd go when I put them on. I think they had about maybe half to 3/4" in either direction when I was installing them.
