Three weeks into owning my 2025 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 long bed. Today, right after a 60-mile freeway drive, I was pulling out of the office parking lot and the entire dashboard lit up—every warning light came on.

I brought it into the service center and they said they’ll take a look, but mentioned they might charge me $210 if there’s any sign of “external activity” (not sure if that’s the exact phrase). Basically, they said if there’s evidence I hit something, or if a rodent (like a mouse or rat) chewed on the wiring, that could void the free diagnostic.

They gave me the code the system threw—I’ll add it for anyone who might recognize it.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with their 2025 Tacoma? I love the truck so far, but this was definitely a surprise.

Not seeing a code being posted...so I will answer for the part on the diagnostic charge. Yes, it is common for there to be a charge when something is not covered under warranty. Dealers should always let you know what that charge is upfront.

    So what is the code?

You can invest in a code reader OBD Scanner. Very easy to use and if there are codes, you know before you go.

it’s a great way to diagnose and keep the dealer honest.

I got the Carista EVO. Great little tool for $100 CAD. I think that’s $5 for you Americans, you should get one at least to make some mods to vehicle options! Lol

The Reddit post is deleted/locket but yes on the warning for what might not be covered by warranty. I got that warning for my first service where there was a list including the way bed is mounted. Yesterday was making an appointment for what should be warranty at the German car dealership - our car - and I got the same sort of warning. The guy said it should be under warranty but stated there would be labor for the diagnostics and repair for anything not covered by warranty.

No code(s) provided... Early Friday post?

I think that's the only reasonable response in this situation. Good luck OP.
