AC LEAKING R134 A

    My AC decided that it would not retain the refrigerant like it should but has a slow leak in the high pressure line just before it enters the condenser. The dye kit and light confirmed it. I've been told my ac uses a receiver / dryer that's built into the condenser but looking at the condenser it looks like a "mini radiator wanna be".
    And I was told the TXV valve is behind the glove box on my 2015 Tacoma Pre Runner SR5 4.0 V6 Crew Cab Taco. My old F250 had an accumulator that was easy to find. Any advice would be great seeing that summer is coming to Sacramento Valley and it gets hot and I'm not a big fan of the heat anymore. Thank you for your time. Drew Brizzee

    Maybe start with a new high pressure hose, get it evacuated and recharged. See if it functions and check to see if it has any more leaks.

    YotaWerx Stage 1, Bumper light bar, Hood wrap, Roadmaster Active Suspension, Durobumps.
    Ya if you have a leak whether the line or a seal, repair that and carry on. No need to even look at the TXV here until the leak is fixed
