Noisy clutch pedal

    My clutch pedal has been making a noise for a while snapping and popping when pressed thought it was the torsioner Springs so replaced it with a linear spring still popping and snapping any ideas

    How did you go about this? I believe this would fix my squeaky spring.

    Used a #70 spring from Lowe's.
    Remove the Torsion spring by using a screwdriver to pry between the spring and the clutch pedal housing it's a little tricky but will come out.
    You will have a small tab on the back of the dash that's for the spring to connect to.
    The other end will slip over the pin that connects the master cylinder rod to the clutch pedal.
