New Member with a 2017 TRD Sport – My Ongoing Dream Build

Hey everyone!

I finally decided to join the forum after spending a lot of time reading posts and getting great advice—especially on maintenance and mods. I'm excited to be part of the community now!

I drive a 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport, which I picked up used about two years ago. It's got just under 100k miles on it and is mostly used for highway driving. Little by little, I’ve been working on building my dream truck. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

• Swapped the OEM tires for 265/70R17s (still running stock wheels for now, but hoping to upgrade this year)
• 5% tint on the sides and rear
• Cali Raised fog lights
• AlphaRex LUXX LED taillights
• Satin black wrap on the hood and roof (the sun wasn’t being kind to the original paint)

It’s a pretty simple build, but it’s been a lot of fun and there’s definitely more to come. Looking forward to learning more and getting some feedback from you all!
