Hello, TW! Long time lurker here, but never posted my truck before.

So I've had a 2014 TRD Off Road DCSB AT, but the more I thought about the kind of truck I wanted I realized that I began to seriously want a manual transmission Access Cab. However I quickly realized that these are quite difficult to come by, particularly for a clean 2nd gen example. I began ritually scrolling new listings on autotrader, marketplace, cargurus, etc. nearly each day for almost the past year... until a few weeks back when I saw this truck listed for sale.

It is a bone stock, zero rust, single owner 2015 TRD Sport Access Cab Manual Transmission in Magnetic Grey Metallic... with less than 29,000 miles! It was for listed for sale by a Toyota dealer in Seattle - the only problem is I live in San Diego. So I did the only logical thing - buy the truck sight unseen, get a plane ticket, and drive it back home. I went with my girlfriend and we drove 1400 miles back over three days. What a memorable trip! This truck is unbelievably clean, feels brand new, and the manual is fun as hell.. The salesman said he fielded a ton of calls immediately but I just happened to be the first response. Keeping the truck forever! No mods planned - probably just swapping wheels at some point. I also plan to do a full 30k mile service myself within the next few weeks.

I would also like to trade for a Gen 2.5 non-scooped MGM hood if anyone in the socal area wants a scooped hood! Let me know!

    - Ted

Ordinarily I wouldn’t buy a truck sight unseen but you did good on that one. Whole thing looks new. I’ve never seen an undercarriage as clean as yours except on a new just off the showroom vehicle. Ya done good, enjoy the ride.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
That’s the way to do it.

I generally agree... But I felt that it was a safe bet given that it was from an established Toyota dealership and I had looked at photos of all angles and facetimed the salesman before putting down money.

    Thank you!

Diffs have already been done, if yours haven’t I’d do them too

Nice score OP, definitely worth the time and work for sure. Took me over 9 months to find my 2013 AC, fortunately I only had to travel about 300 miles to get it.

Wow what an absolutely beautiful find. Congrats!! I’m sure many people here, including myself, would sell an organ for a clean low-mileage 2nd gen like that!! I’m seriously jealous!
