Boy oh boy. After a few days, well about 3 driving hours later, I'm greeted back with P0171 and P0174. Sometimes when its at idle it starts shaking or missing really bad sounding like its about to die and then the check engine light would blink, but it does that sometimes. I'm going to the store tomorrow to pick up a high quality scanner, no visible vacuum leaks. I ain't gonna lie lol this is kind of tough.

You said the air filter was coming apart so you may want to pull the MAF sensor out and check it for dirt/debris, you wouldn't believe the number of vehicles I've had come in that had a bug or other trash in the MAF sensor from a missing/improperly installed air filter that would barely run or wouldn't run at all. Blow the trash out and fixed.

Beyond checking that, like I said in your original thread we need to see what kind of lean condition we're dealing with and if we're in fuel control or not.

I would send the full video but it wont let me due to how large the file is, maximum u can upload is 50mb. Yes sir, here is some live data and I'm about to send this final screenshot which shows the fuel trims and everything at idle.

I'll have to look this over later but it's very apparent we have a pretty significant lean condition although it does look like we're still in fuel control.

Native video isn't supported here, you have to post it to a site like youtube and post the link here.

MAF is kinda hard to look at in pounds per minute but converting it to grams per second at idle it's about where I would expect it to be so I don't suspect a MAF issue.

Fuel trims improve somewhat off idle but not alot so a vacuum leak is possible but not too likely, I think checking fuel pressure would be the next best step.

yes sir thank you, tomorrow I will blow smoke into it for leaks and do what pine hollow did and then I'll check the fuel pressure. I'm at the point to where its like a 90% issue with fuel pump/fuel filter, maybe 50% vacuum leak but just gotta keep testing. Actually making progress testing, than throwing parts into it lol. Best advice ever, and learning experience is awesome lol. Thank you sir

Couldn't find a vacuum leak anywhere, might have to take it to a shop to get the real smoke test. its just kinda weird how the long term fuel trims are in the 30s and high at idle and while driving. If this was a vacuum leak it should improve and get lower again right?

Fuel pressure is the next step in my books, +30% means its starving for fuel or overwhelmed with air.

    Typically yes.
I'd check fuel pressure next, super easy and you have almost the exact same fuel trims as the last person I helped.

Bad intake gasket, they're leaking and the air box has a small leak.
‍ Thought it was gonna be worse
    Thank God fix is easy
