So I've had Dodge, Jeep and Ram for many years, all with accurate speedometers and odometers. And just to stave off the usual remarks they've been the most trouble free vehicles in 50 years of auto buying. I've also had many, many Fords, a few Generic Motors (you can trash talk them all you want and I'll agree) and even a VW and Hyundai. With the Mopars they had one TPMS sensor regardless of trim, wheel or model. Easy. And they relearn themselves when you replace them. So now after discovering how inaccurate Toyota's speedometer (5% off) and odometer (2% off) are with my 245/70-17, my calculations show that the speedometer would be accurate had I the 265/70-17. I've found a set of takeoffs online. I usually buy my TPMS sensors from TPMS.com where I can get a set for the price of one at the stealership but they show a whole array of various makes for the 2025 Tacoma. My questions: are all sensors for 24-25 Tacoma the same. If not are they dependent upon the wheel or the trim level of the vehicle reading them. The takeoffs are from a 2024 Off Road, the black six spoke with the machined lip. I'm trying to figure out which one on TPMS.com I need, or any other reasonably priced source.

I don’t know, but I doubt the sensors changed from 2024 to 2025.

Here’s what I used for my second set of wheels. Good quality and price:

No issues at all. They were setup from the seller and show psi(if your model has that feature). Just message him and he’ll set you up asap

My local tire shop installed new TPMS on my new wheels instead of taking it off my OEM wheelset. Don’t overthink things.
