Hey, I’m back! I picked up this 2015 Toyota Tacoma ACLB In January with very low miles, completely stock, and it’s been a dream except for one thing that I’ve noticed.

When I go over successive bumps or chatter, I get what feels like a loose joint, slipping in and out, and a little bit of play in the steering wheel. You can kind of hear a sound that would mimic The symptom when this does happen. I said before I only feel this off-road and sometimes on a really rough roads driving around on the street. The play feels like it’s coming from the front drivers but it’s hard to say. Also possibly related is a clank sound I hear on the drivers whenever I cycle through a large dip say coming out of the driveway with the wheel turned, or going over a speedbump. Otherwise the truck drives nicely and the steering is responsive and tight.

I wouldn’t have reached out to ask for thoughts but I got under the truck myself with a jack and did a quick check for any play in the wheels or instability in the ball joints and I couldn’t see anything or feel anything just using my eyes and hands. Any thoughts? Thank you all so much.

That could be a possibility but it drives great otherwise with no feedback which wouldn’t make a ton of sense for it to be the alignment cams. I’ll take a look still
