Those Coopers are getting a lot of good press lately. Looking forward to swapping out my loud AF Duratracs for the Coopers.

I love my RAS rear suspension upgrade. Which of the 2 settings did you go with? I went with the lower setting, smooth ride on the street and off road and still eliminates the squat when loaded.

    Minor stuff.
Added marine EVA foam padding to my tailgate. I have the Mobtown Offroad aluminum plate and even with that, my bad EMS knees hurt when kneeling on it. This padding feels good. Got it off Amazon. So far it holds up and I left a space to cut up bait when fishing. Screenshot 2025-05-12 100035.jpg

Regrettably swapped my Duratracs out for some Michelin Defender LTX M's 2s. It's so quiet I can hear the differential whine now, and I get 2mpgs better per tank. It also looks like someone's grandpa drives it.

Also, lower setting. Very impress with the DIY kit. It really stabilizes the ride without compromising smoothness.

Finally got around to installing the Stedi flush mount rear bumper lights after two to three months of having them. Has some difficulty with the stock connectors from Nilight but after redoing them and making my own it all worked out.

It has been a bit of a busy month.
    I put on some rrw rr2-s 17x8.5 0 offset wheels wrapped in 34” wildpeaks at4ws! 285/75r17 c rated.
Installed the hypertech for the speedometer readings to adjust for the bigger tires.
Also had Muddy Offroad do a cmc and got their rock sliders installed too.

35-37 for an average ride. 36 sounds great.

Weird experience today. It’s raining here in central NC so after starting Taco I turned on the lights and backed out of garage. I’m installing a new garage door opener so I’ve got to close/open and lock door manually. When I walked back in front of vehicle I heard what sounded like air escaping from a tire. Walked around vehicle and definitely coming from engine bay. No other accessory running except for lights. All tires at normal pressure. When I got back home did not notice sound. WTF?

Ugg, my garage door opener broke a while back, I am still trying to figure out who to call... lol

As far as the noise at start up, are you sure it was not the fan clutch being engaged?? Mine sounds like it is fully engaged at start up but then frees up shortly afterwards and quietens back down... It does move a lot of air when engaged, so it could be confused as air leaking I guess...o_O

It could be. But I go through the same routine every time I take the Taco out of the garage and today was the first time I’ve heard it. I was so confused I thought it was someone using a string trimmer next door.

Washed the bed... Mud, sand, pollen...... It needed to be done

Changed the oil, filter, rotated the tires (plugged one that had a screw in it)... More exciting and adventurous maintenance on my rig
