My LH wheel cylinder blew out at 21k, leaving my stranded until I got a ride to the parts store in a Jeep:

My RH wheel cylinder blew at 26k, had to get towed:

Both were caused by trapped contamination in the rear drums. I drive a 3rd gen despite the piece of shit drum brakes.

Sumo makes em in different load ratings and they replace the stops. Think of them as really tall bump stops that squish. Some guys like them. The Blue ones are 1000lb @ 50% compression and the black ones are 1500lbs @ 50%. They’re progressive rate so they start soft. Since I went with bags so that’s where my experience lies. With 100lb max inflation I could put way more than I’d ever want to carry, highest pressure I’ve used is 65lbs. With the shell and typical tool load I run around 40-45 psi.
