I would save the “drips” from the oil cans after an oil change and after 6 months I had enough to do an oil change on the lawn mower.

    On Edit:

I saved a bunch of air and cabin filters before I retired also so I won’t need either for a few years.

I have considered just buying the cast offs from new Taco "Bro" owners. The ones who get new wheels and tires immediately after purchasing the truck. Usually go for $400-600 for all 4 brand new with 400 miles on them. Sell your old rims online and put the new wheels and tires on. So every 4 or 5 years you get new tires and wheels.

Good morning, I'm waiting on IT to figure out who is remote accessing my PC, my cursor started to move on its own and dig through files on different projects. Yesterday IT had to 'reprofile'? the PC to get a former employee off of the account so that I could access excel.

Yes, 15's are quiet the PIA for tire choices. I only saw Toyos and Coopers available in an A/T tire. It's awfully nice of you to put new shoes on baby Toy for Andy. ;)

The guy that bought the steelies/tires from my Taco mentioned the same issue, so he was going to run the 16" steelies to have more tire choices. He had a 1st gen Taco on stock 15" alloys.

I can relate- the last set of tires for the T4R were takeoffs from new Jerps. I'm running 17's to clear the Tundy calipers, so I use 5th gen T4R SR5 wheels. Lots of 245 75 17s available dirt cheap.

I take great solace in knowing that while I'm not an attractive guy, I do look better, significantly better, than any avatar that has ever tried to represent me.
