    If you're not tearing the actuator apart, there's no timing. But to replace the tcase actuator, you'll need to pull the tcase from the transmission and open the tcase apart. The actuator shaft is clipped/pinned internally to the gear inside; you cannot remove the actuator by removing the 3 mounting bolts. It's slightly more complicated vs the front ADD actuator but doable.

    The issue with buying a used push button case is it might have the same issue. Push button case is notorious for that issue. Unless you can test the unit to confirm functionality, it's risky unlike the J-patter. I would hate to do all that work to find out its not working or not the issue.

    Tried tapping transfer actuator. Nothing changed.
    If I have to change actuator in transfer
    How hard is it to get it timed? It goes in 4 low fine
