    My accelerator and brake pedals depressed simultaneously error comes on randomly. I had the brake light switch replaced. That was the issue it was broken. I'm not sure how this would happen. Now it is coming on randomly. If you don't catch it when you park at night. It will drain the battery. Yes that happened to me.
    Any ideas why this is happening?

    it'll allow stationary brake torquing. but moving is a different story. thank the whole 'toyota floormat saga' thing for that...
