I think it's only true if their skin gets damaged while the fur is short. That can make it so the follicles don't let it grow back right or something

I dunno, if I did I’m not sure I’d want to play goal again. Got rid of most of my player gear though when we moved - the bag had sat outside buried under 7 years of dirt and leaves, I didn’t want to even open it up to look lol. Don’t have a rink within a 30 minute drive either, plus games are always after 10pm which is brutal. Then, of course, another baby on the way so even if I did it would be a few years from now

Quote for a pro to run a 50a circuit to the garage came in at $1800… Think I’ve got a plan otherwise though!

Water heater is hard wired on a 30a. I’ll just terminate that box to an outlet and wire up a plug for the water heater. I don’t think occasionally unplugging it should hurt, but let me know if anyone sees anything I’m overlooking. Will be nice to have a real ground, unlike the dryer.

Looks like both the welder and plasma cutter peak at ~25-26a draw so hope this will cover me. If not I priced all the material for the 50a run at ~$400 and will give it a try myself. I’ve got space in the box, hardest part would just be making the conduit look nice.

Out of my own ignorance, what do you mean about the dryer not having a real ground?

Ignorant here too so IDK if this is a problem or not but my understanding was the 10-30 circuit had 2 hots and a neutral whereas the 6-30 (or in my case 6-50) are 2 hots and a ground.

Just gives my uninformed ass a little peace of mind having the circuit match what the equipment was designed for.

Depends when the house was made, you might have a four conductor plug for your dryer. But yeah you could put your water heater on a whip and install an outlet, would work all the same really

There is a door between the laundry room and garage too so water heater option fixes multiple problems. Just hope it’s got enough juice!

Yeah the full amperage draw of a welder is rarely sustained, it isn't just you putting the settings to max it is also you welding with the max size filler/wire on max at the right distance etc... 30a should be fine

Found a random flower thriving in the middle of a bunch of weeds. We've been here for about 5 years so who knows how long this guy's been hiding under the soil.

    Anyone know what this is

I'd question if that would be up to code, if you care about that. I've never seen a water heater that isn't hardwired I bet theres some weird reason for it

I can't speak for code, but I can stay that a plug and receptacle cost a lot more than a service disconnect switch, and most water heaters aren't portable, so for most people it seems silly to do anything other than hardwire it even if the code allows the option (again, not saying it does, I'm curious what someone who actually knows the code will say).

I don’t see a disconnect switch anywhere so feels like a plug would give that option opposed to flipping the breaker like I did when I installed it.

Trying to do a little research now but open to any input!

What did people call driving off-road before the Fiat Chrysler Trademark of Overland was applied to it? Down in AU, I think Overlanding is about the movement of cattle.

We called it hunting or looking for future hunting sites or just getting away from people.

I use AI for as much as I can get out of it for mundane tasks.

Though I love it when my competition uses AI-generated or enhanced images. Studies have shown that people's reactions to AI images have a 50% lower success rate compared to actual photography.

People would take a 2nd look at AI-generated/enhanced images when they were new.

After the eye and the brain recognize the image as AI within a few milliseconds, it immediately discards it and looks for something real.

I believe it. The owner of our company wants us to embrace AI, I’m just waiting for when he decides he wants us to stop hiring models and use AI generated ones instead - I’ve seen convincing examples but that doesn’t negate the morale/ethical dilemma of replacing real people with computer generated ones, and in reality AI will never give you a true visual of how your product (in our case, clothing) actually fits and looks on a real person. No matter how good or real looking it gets. But, if your consumers are none the wiser then …what mama don’t know don’t hurt?
Anyway yeah, its definitely not there yet and I hope it’s well regulated before it does get there
