Unless I cap it when it's sunny. :notsure:

    Yeah, 20 years before.
Hurricane Andrew was far more destructive at landfall.
The thing about Agnes is that it stalled over Pennsylvania and wouldn't leave.

I recall heavy rain for several days with no letup.
The heaviest recorded rainfall total was in Schuylkill county, 19 inches (just now looked it up).

Or . . . take a picture and dump it out
Then at the end of the month, add up all the amounts in the picture

    Andrew fucked S Florida up!!
Mostly Homestead - my neighbors [now] lived thru that shit; they are well prepared today for a future such thing
I got to skip a day of school - we just got some windy ass shit

Andrew also caused a lot of the building codes down in S Fla to be upgraded, including making hurricane clips mandatory
They are metal brackets that bolt the trusses to the underlying structure so your roof doesn't get blown off as easily

I was in Argentina when Andrew hit. Flew back into Miami a week after. I asked the lady at immigration how was it. She looked at me like I lost my mind. Talked to several truck drivers when I was there in 2008. They said they thought there wouldn’t be any problem making deliveries, they lived there all their lives. They got lost, no landmarks left.

I bet you could script it and not have to do it yourself...

Train Google photos as to what you mean by "rain gauge" and then the first of the month it would dump all your rain gauge pics in an email to you or some shit...

I asked my parents, they said houses were moved off their foundations and floating down the roads after Agnes.:eek::eek:

They said steel railroad tracks were mangled like pretzels from the flood water.:eek::eek:
