Good lord would you look at that! I wonder if it's a 2G underneath or a shortened 4G cab? The cab profile looks 2G to me and the mirrors look like 3G.

Didn't they turn one of the pre runners into a Pro runner for Sema.

Now that I have gotten used to double cabs and access cabs that truck looks hideous to me.

To each his/her own. I like it and all I need to fit in a tiny FL 2-car  garage. I'm looking at buying a truck/car by length & width instead of what I really want. Uggg

I conceded and park my long bed outside. Getting towards a year of ownership I still have no regrets. I could not own a pickup that can't carry what a minivan and Outback or other decent sized wagon can.

To me it is seriously doubtful that we'll see any cab choices different than what exists now. They would be low volume sales, and very likely lower priced thus lower margin versions of the Tacoma.

Door handle and mirrors are from 3rd gen. There's quite a bit of cab sheetmetal work done to this truck. The roof trailing edge has been modified to look more like 4th gen.

I don't think the Iso-Seats will fit in that configuration.

I think would look better with 8ft bed.

Somewhat along the same lines, Chevrolet offers the Trail Boss in a RCSB in Mexico as well as the Middle East. Curious how popular it is in those markets.

I'm going to be polite. They did build single cabs. Toyota tacoma is simply not going back to a single cabs in a gasoline engine. You can build a far far better single cab electric now and skip fuel encomy issues

And a single cab EV will likely have more commercial sales appeal than private party and individuals buying.

Yes more commercial customers than private party. Not that I see many midize or compact fleet trucks running a lot of electrical accessories, but what if you wanted to run an inverter to charge batteries or add other 12v electrical equipment? I've seen examples of Teslas and Mach-Es upfitted with police equipment, no idea how well they work for the job being electric. Toyota has added an alternator to some of the hybrid trucks with auxiliary switches to supplement power. I doubt it would be an issue for most commercial customers.

But if it were a diesel they would sell two and if it also had a front locker I'm sure they would sell at least three. Toyota is oblivious to this potentially huge market.

Similar to the Chevrolet SS. Everyone wanted a big V8 sedan, GM is like here you go, straight from the land of kangaroos. 5 years later, bye bye SS, poor sales. Now they bring original MSRP in great condition.
