I've got the LED ones, with the connectors spliced into the OEM wiring by @EatSleepTacos. They haven't given me any trouble in the ~4 years I've had them installed.

tired of 6mo max incandescent bulb lifetime
Picked up sylvania LED from Advance around $20 shoved them in
    Apparently the bulbs are replaceable

noticed right turn doesn’t come on and flashes the marker instead
Oh well. What’s another riddle to solve.

eventually goal is full LED for that reason. All that’s left is turns, main beams, fogs, and aux. maybe when those burn out the time will come so I’m not trying to solve riddles at a gas station.

Just left the Nissan Xterra world & can confirm snatching from or to the front of the Nissan's will rip your front end out. Video in one of the Nissan forums of a guy trying to pop a guy out of mud hole on his ARB on an Xterra. using his winch. Just "bumped" backwards to give the guy a tug and was using a synthetic winch line so a "smidge" of stretch & boom...there went the front.

The other wild thing I've seen was that Donut Media video of them stupidly self-winching to an anchor in the ground & folding their ARB bumper down like a tailgate. That was a first gen Taco, but still. Yanking w/ the front or heavy winching is ill advised.

    In reply to post #44:
Old post now but I just saw it with the thread revival. '95 Tacoma vs '94 Subaru (4 door, can't recall the model). I was doing the speed limit (45mph, because I though the Crown Vic behind me was a cop; turns out it wasn't), I estimated his speed at 55 (I'm pretty good at estimating speeds and have been to various accident courses and just experience) and the highway patrol crash team estimated our speeds as stated. He swerved into me as we closed and there was a drainage ditch and an embankment on my right side so nowhere to go. I have no idea why, maybe looking at the stereo or reaching for something (teenage driver)? Both of us were wearing seatbelts, I got cut up some and was sore for a couple of days, he was killed on scene. Oddly, it's one of the only seat belts I've ever had to cut in my time as a paramedic as I think his seat sliders came forward and he was pinned by the belt and the belt wouldn't release (contrary to popular opinion, it's really rare to actually have to cut a seatbelt). I'll just leave the details at that as they're not important. I was still in uniform on my way home from work and knew the responding crew and officers (I lived in a different county) and luckily for me there were two cars behind me and one behind him and all of our stories matched exactly.

ETA- I've killed a doe with the ARB on the current truck (lots of deer here). Luckily it struck her head and she spun away from the truck instead of into it and causing damage to the side of the truck.
