    More curious than anything else.

is it normal for my truck to show a 11- 16% (combined ) when taking off and at cruising speed on the freeway at approx 65? Long trim will hover around 14%-16%. I sprayed brake cleaner everywhere and no increase in rpm when idling.
Just the “higher “ long trim levels at cruising speed is throwing me off because I’ve always been told is should be closer to 10-% (combined) when cruising.

At idle my truck sits at under 5% combined and when in park and rpm increased to 2000 for approx 30 sec truck stays at 5% combined fuel trims.

new injectors and fuel pump and fuel filter all within 1000 miles. No issues with power/accelerating or starting the truck.

Probley me just overthinking this lol

Any insight or thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you

When is the last time you cleaned the MAF sensor?

I recently replaced it approximately 1000 miles ago

    with a hitachi MAF
Couldn’t find a DENSO one and from I heard hitachi or Delphi are the equivalent to OEM.

within the last 2000 miles I replaced the

MAF/ FUEL INJECTORS/ fuel pump and filter/ crank position sensor/ fuel pressure regulator/ PCV / spark plugs and wired and distributor cap /. Starter/ alternator/battery/ OPEN relay fuse for fuel pump and injectors.

only when i take off from a stop and get to cruise speed is when my long trim is staying around 16% and my short trim will fluctuate between -1 and -3 to help reduce the overall total %. But it’s still above 10% combined.

    just providing all the info

You are over thinking this... LT - ST = total trim. Even if the "trims" were 10% what can you do about it? How much time and money are you going to spend chasing the difference?

Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
As long as it runs ok and MPG is decent, why worry about it? TBH though, I would probably wonder about that too.

All of the info I have seen so far has stated that the Denso brand MAF is the only reliable choice. Just be careful where you get it from since there are counterfeit fugazi toyota parts out there.
