    Hi Friends!

I currently have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma V6 4x4 Manual with factory wheels and 245/75-16 tires.
I just want to make sure I'm not missing something, but I can swap to 3rd generation wheels with 265/70-18 tires, correct? Some adjustments to speedometer will be necessary, but otherwise should be ok?

Apologies as this is my first post and I'm a touch anxious about the whole thing, but really love the look of these black wheels to go with my black tacoma and the price is right, plus I need new tires anyway.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks y'all.

Is 265/70/18 a factory size on 3rd gens? That's a 2" taller tire than factory and it MIGHT cause issues. I use 265/75/16's which are 1" taller and 3/4" wider than what you have. A 265/65/18 would have exactly the same overall dimensions as my 265/75/16's. That is usually considered as big as you can go with no modifications to the truck.

Use this link to experiment with various tire sizes in comparison to factory. It will also show you how much your speedometer will be off. Unless you're going HUGE on tires I wouldn't worry about the small speedometer difference. You're only talking about 3-5 mph off at 70. Only 1-2 mph at 55.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Tacoma Limited came with 265/70/18 as the stock size. That's a 32.6" tire. I didn't see the offset, but I'd bet they would work.
