Just wanted to share my experience with this topic. I originally went with LT265/75R16 Duratracs shortly after buying the truck, so I didn’t have much to compare them to since it still had the worn-out tires from the previous owner. Recently, I switched to a more road-friendly setup—picked up a set of 2024 Tacoma Off-Road take-offs with BFG Trail-Terrains in 265/70R17—and the difference has been huge. I’ve seen a 3–4 MPG improvement around town, along with noticeably better responsiveness and overall road feel. That MPG boost is a game changer. I used to average around 12–14 MPG, but now I haven’t dropped below the mid-16s for the last 4–5 fill-ups. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do on the highway—hoping I can crack 20 MPG soon. I do frequently Off road but I think that this was the best move for me spending like 25-40% on the highway. and like 15% off Road.

Looks good - do you rub at all? I wouldn't think so but ya never know. I'm a big fan of skinnies, especially in places where ice can be a concern

Mudflaps rub at full lock in reverse but aside from that it’s all good. The nomads are -10 offset so YMMV.

Front is 6112s on 4th clip setting. It settled to roughly 1 1/2”

Rear is 5160s with Icon RXTs at stage 2

This is mine with 265/75r16 Falken Rubitreks on some old Level8 Mk6s (16x8 ET -10). The lift is Bilstein 5100s in front, bottom setting with Eibach coils, for about 1.5", and Icon RXT's in the rear set at stage 2.
