Anyone know who makes the slider windows? I tried to locate the logo using image search, no dice. It’s a small slider with tint, latch, and a screen. Exterior dimensions 21”w x 13”h.

My tundra came with a tradesman, I wanted to add a fan to the roof but I called a few shops and they all said it would destroy my roof and leak if I put a small fan like a maax air mini for those of you guys with fans did you have to rib or put a support around the fan?

I never put one in mine, but would agree without the framing it will likely flex way too much for a long life seal. For such a small poorly sealed space that the truck bed is, never felt like it was a must or worth figuring out. Looks like a nice setup you got, their roof rack was awesome for work and gear while I had it.

Found this on the A.R.E. DCU Shell website:

Welded aluminum roof racks are for safely hauling construction supplies. weight - 220 lbs

    It seems about right

I realize this an ancient thread, but I just finished reading every post. I am crushed to hear that Tradesman has gone out of business. I am researching a DCU for the next version of how I setup my Taco for camping and adventures with my dog (I am retiring soon, FWIW). I just got a quote for an ARE DCU 26-32, barn doors, flip-up side doors w/windows, no lights, no insulation, no racks -- pretty straight forward build -- $4000. From what I have seen in the thread WRT the poor quality welds on the ARE caps, I am having a hard time dropping $4k on basic shell with spotty/hit-miss quality.

Am I over thinking the quality concerns?

Any other options I should consider?

Anyone looking to sell a Tradesman?!

Yeah it's a big bummer that Tradesman folded. Then again I can't imagine how expensive they would be these days if ARE shells are $4k. If you're not 100% committed to a specific design, I would say keep an eye on the used market - Craigslist, FB marketplace, and see what pops up. The contractor shells seem to come up pretty regularly, at least around here, and you can usually get a pretty good deal on them.

I have a 2nd gen 6’ bed with a tradesman camper, love the camper been looking for one since they went out of business.

Looking for trade for generally the same camper, but with a tailgate !
Obviously this is a rare ask, but if there is a place for it to happen, it’s here. Based in Oregon, super down to meet along the West Coast, and or meet half way depending.

    Thanks

    Rik
