    I assume in the coup.
I assume the chain is holding a food or water dispenser.
    Am I assuming to much?

Morning :hattip:scheduled some chip repair for the windshield on Wednesday. No charge on my end, taking to them at the shop. It’s odd how you schedule it, you just can’t call Safelite, it’s done through a third party, kinda a hassle. Washed the truck yesterday, I think I found 7 :annoyed:

Over the weekend I changed the oil, 6 new spark plugs, engine air filter, radiator coolant change.

I'll admit I didn't think hard enough about the coolant, I thought there would be more in the radiator, so I'm going to go back in the next week or two and do another radiator drain and fill, but oh well. Also have to schedule an AT service, I would like the pan dropped and the filter serviced, but I'm kinda nervous about doing it myself. On my own I'm going to change the PCV, clean the MAF and throttle body and change the diff oils over the next month or so.

But I feel really good about having done this much, much more confident about working on the truck and it's condition, and I wanted to thank everyone for helping motivate me! Really appreciate it.

Given the lack of any wireless service in the area where I'm heading tomorrow morning for some much needed R&R/Fly-Fishing.

As mandated by the by-laws, I'm officially invoking clause 35A "Transition of Sheriff Authority" to @FlyingWolfe in my absence.

This is generally a well behaved group, but I advise to not test her authority.

    I'll be returning Sunday evening.

That made me look up what's the longest 4x4 available.
Apparently 20' is easy and some lumberyards can get 24'

    Ahh
You never posted clause 35B “Return to authority “.
    You never resumed your post.
You were collecting a paycheck for doing nothing.
A reimbursement to the group maybe in order.

I don’t think there is enough bracing by code to secure that… lol

No. I used the petcock under the radiator. It seemed like people disagreed about the procedure for purging the block and I didn't want to deal with air in the heater core because it seemed like that was a problem some folks ran into. I feel like multiple radiator drains gets the job done though, and it's only a few minutes to take out and replace a gallon at a time.

I'm very open to suggestions or advice, though.

Many ways to do this. I like the kiss method…
I fill and drain while the engine is running and at operating temp.
No chance of air locking and no mess…

I run 3 gal through it.
