did you do the wheel bearing test?

put the wheel back on, only lift that side of the truck, grab the wheel at 12/6 (like on a clock) and push/pull. If you have play, its probably the wheel bearing, but could also be ball joints.

There will be some play in the CV. The test for the needle bearing is if you put in 4H does the noise/vibration go away around 45mph?

Tested for play in the wheel bearing and it was still tight, LCAs/BJs were done about 2000 miles ago. I’m just wondering if that up and down play where the CV axle goes into the front diff. I’ve never really inspected that area before and it seems loose but maybe it’s normal? Truck is not lifted either so that’s why I’m hoping it not the needle bearing, and it still does the wub wub feeling in 4x4.

I never did. I changed both front wheel bearings, all u joints and carrier bearing, had tires rotated and balanced, with no improvement. I gave up and at this point am betting it’s one of my tires like some others suggested.
