I swapped F35 seats into my 4runner a couple years ago. It was not too bad a swap, just cutting the feet off the OE chairs and bolting them onto the new seats. Wiring was a pain because of the CAN-Bus, the seats go to sleep unless you wire in a timer to "wake" them. Anyways I knew I wanted new seats in my Taco because they are broken down, don't adjust and smell funny. I found a set of seats from a 2004 325i (E46 I think?) on marketplace for $50. SCORE! These seats are not CAN-Bus seats so they just need power and a switch for the heater.

I called Corbeau and they sell their brackets without the sliders but you have to call them, it's not an option on the website. That was nice to save a little money there... I got the brackets and mocked up the seat rails so I could see what I needed to do to make them work. I welded on some tabs to extend the Corbeau brackets and drilled the holes for the BMW slides.

I am disappointed in the Corbeau brackets holes not lining up better. I had to massage the holes to fit the truck. Not a huge deal but that is why I got their brackets in the first place, to try and save some time and not fabricate so much. So I welded up my extensions and got it painted.

The seat belt mounts on the Corbeau side are not bent very well so that needed some adjusting as well. I need to pull them out one more time so I can move them more towards the door maybe a 1/4" and run the power wires. Otherwise they fit pretty nice. At its lowest setting it sits about an inch higher than the OE seat. At its highest setting my head hits the ceiling so my wife is going to love the adjustability.

    Those look great!
I just put 2015 435i seats in my truck. Yup, CAN-bus is a pain.
Also dabbing new brackets also a hassle. But they’re sooo much better than my worn out stock seats.

Would you happen to have any recommendation for seat covers? I don't want the generic box store covers.
