Ever since I got the fuel tank replaced after an incident on the highway. Most of the time when the truck gets below 1/2 or 1/3 of gas left, the truck will misfire & lose all power to the throttle until I come to full stop. I notice the problem will go away after fueling back up to full tank.

I replaced plugs and air intake filter recently.

what else was replaced? Just the plastic fuel tank? Fuel filter? Fuel pump? Any other fuel lines?
    What happened on the highway?

Maybe it's actually out of fuel, how much fuel are you putting in to fill it when this happens?
Not uncommon for the fuel gauges on these trucks to be off by quite alot when they get older.

Metal debris caught air time from a construction truck and flew under the truck, slicing the fuel tank.

only thing was replaced was fuel tank & fuel lines

Certainly possible the pump/sending unit assembly was damaged then, it has to be something with the tank or pump assembly if it only happens when it's low on fuel and only started happening after the accident.

I had a Ford Super Duty come in one time with a similar issue, I don't remember all of the details but I do remember the pump assembly support rods were bent causing it to not be sitting on the bottom of the tank like it should. Came to find out later that the truck had been rear-ended at some point previously and repaired and that must have been when the pump bracket got bent.

If it was by a shop, go back.

if it was by you, seems like you need to narrow down if it’s fuel, spark, or air issue.

If topping off the tank fixes the problem I'd say you have a level sender problem
