    My frame was given the undercoating treatment sometime in 2017 if I remember correctly, but it still developed some minor rot and was replaced in November 2021. My frame NEVER looked this bad!

    A glass company within walking distance of my work has a fleet of 2nd Gen 5-lug Tacos (AC and RC) in addition to the usual Ford vans, and this 2011 RC is the second one they’ve put up for sale in probably the last year or so. A couple of their trucks have gotten new frames under recall, but this one appears to have only had the original frame treated. Anyway, this truck is virtually identical to mine aside being white and a year newer. It has just shy of 158K miles and appear to be in decent shape other than cosmetic issues. They are asking $7,500. My truck comes in at just under $7,000 the last time I checked. Despite being a year older and having about 60K more miles, I think my truck is worth more because…

    • The frame has been replaced.
    • It wasn’t used as a commercial vehicle.
    • It has a very expensive aftermarket stereo with a backup camera.
    • It has been retrofitted with cruise control and intermittent wipers.
    • It has been fitted with a number of subtle upgrades including a trailer hitch and a 2” lift.
    Either way, I figured this was a good idea of what stock RC 5-lugs with an automatic transmission are going for…
