Hi I have a 2019 Tacoma with what Toyota said was a 3” inch lift. But both my buddies have the same lift and wheels but sit an inch taller. So im thinking it’s just 2 inches. My big issue is I want to put Bilstein 5160s in the rear, and their website says factory to 2 inches. Im just a bit worried I’ll be maxing them out.
    I’d Appreciate any feedback

    • Collapsed Length (IN): 14.22
    • Extended Length (IN): 23.63
These are the max and minimum the shocks can do, see if they will fit that way with a tape measurer.
(measure from top of thread to eye if you don't know)

Just to make sure I jacked it up from the hitch and I got 23 1/2 inches Jacked
On the ground is 20 inches
And jacked up from the axle is 19 1/2 inches
I should be in the clear but am I cutting it close would I be wearing the shocks down a lot more than if I was to just go with a fox 2.0 meant for 3” inch lift

Yes it would be close, but ask yourself this are you going to be dropping your rear suspension like that often or flexing the truck that much. If yes you have a chance to damage your shock doesn't sound like pavement driving would be an issue. Damage occurs when over extending your shock in this case. Shocks shouldn't be used as limiting straps.

Based off what you said for piece of mind fox might be the choice, my .02

Yea sounds like the best option thanks for the help I’m going on my honey moon trip in July for 3 weeks going over Idaho Montana and Utah and needed to upgrade my rear suspension before that lots of miles in the mountains so definitely need a reservoir
