I just installed my transfer case skid from RCI, Aluminum with standard exhaust. When I reverse the exhaust sound like it’s vibrating against it. Has anyone had this problem? Seems like a crap fitment. I also have the RCI trans skid. ‘23 Pro 6MT

I had to put some washers in between the skid plate and crossmember after having the exhaust relocation done, mine did the same thing while in reverse. Pic is before adding the washers.

Yeah. Just irritates me you try and buy a higher quality product to have to modify it.

Looks about the exact same. So you went with the relocation after a while?

Is there any way to adjust the y-pipe (crossover pipe)? I have a 2014 with the 3 piece RCI steel skid plate. Had perfect fitment. Took truck to stealerahip for a rear seal replacement. Now the exhaust touches the skid and rattles while idling in drive or reversing.

That sucks. I am sure it has to do with alignment of the exhaust connections when they put it back together. So I guess it could possibly be adjusted a little.
