    Hi all,
My car started blinking the air bag light so I took it in to the mechanic shop to get the srs code pulled. They informed me that I needed a new air bag sensor assembly, do y’all know the part number for it?

Can I just plug and play if I pull one off from any gen 1 Tacoma?

    thanks!

How much was it & did it fix your issue? Reason I ask is cause mine came up as faulty (same p/n) but now I'm not so sure. I replaced all the caps in mine but I haven't put it back in yet test (I have a 4dr which requires taking out the front seats to do it).

I have a feeling it's my clock spring even though I don't get a code for it. But this reminds me I need to put the damn thing back in already & test it.

    Hey zero4,
I didn’t replace it haha it just failed on me yesterday so I was looking for the part number to replace it.

You mentioned that you replaced the capacitors, what was the process for removing the module? Do you drive around without it?

Oh I see. Last time I checked them things are expensive & the later yrs have a different p/n.

Yeah I'm currently driving around with out it. FYI, with it unplugged the SRS on the dash does not light up constantly like on newer vehicles.

To remove it on the 4dr, there's air ducts that cover the side mounting bolts, so you have to remove the front seats & peel back the carpet to unbolt the air ducts. I believe anything other than 4drs you don"t need to do all that.
