Automatic Transmission PRNDL Cover Part #?

I have an 07 Tacoma AT and I can’t find the part number for this little piece for the gear shift indicator.



it’s just one piece and fairly easy to swap out I just can’t find a matching part or diagram for this

 

I believe this is it

35971-04060

 

Im seeing 35971-04060 and 35971-04050 are the same part but for different years. Neither say it will fit the 07 but it looks the exact same. Upgraded part?

35971-04020 popped up for my truck but it is discontinued, thinking these are just the new parts for newer trucks but also fit old.

 

05-11 interior parts (EXCEPT for some seats/airbags/etc) are all mechanically the same, and will fit across those years. 12-15 had some interior change as part of the facelift, but some of the parts are still the same even though they might not show as compatible.

Revised part numbers don't always have any changes at all - if, for example, the supplier for a part changes, Toyota will slap a new/different part number on there, and depending on where you are looking them up (anywhere other than an official, up-to-date Toyota database) they may not have all of the correct cross references, especially for interior parts, components that are typically sold in an assembly, and anything that comes in various colorways.

 

$49 bucks for just the cover? I'll sell you the whole A/T shifter assembly off of my 2014 for $59 shipped OBO if you're interested. Couple of fuzzies with light scuffage that is removable but in excellent used shape otherwise. Removed when I did my tranny swap at 69k miles. LMK!

 

I ordered a 04060 and it wasn’t available and on back order so I tried a 04050 and it shipped and it looks like an exact fit and also brand new! Definitely something to try for anyone wanting a new housing and can’t order an older part!
