Been out the game for a bit… I need new ball joints for my icon UCAs. Is the new delta joint what I have to replace it with? Also any special tools I need to replace it? Can it be done on the vehicle? IMG_8892.jpg

You can order replacement 1" FK Uniballs or the Delta Joint retrofit kit. It can be done on vehicle, and ICON makes a good uniball press kit.

Can I just use a normal ball joint press tool, like the rental ones at Auto Zone?

I had to buy a uniball kit because none of the faces on my two bj kits would work for the uniballs. There's a special cup, an angled shim, and a two sided seat with different depths for install/remove. - here's pics.

Sorry, I dont loan tools out of sight - nothing against you personally.

You may have luck in the B/S/T section of the forums.
