Icon UCA ball joint replacement

Been out the game for a bit… I need new ball joints for my icon UCAs. Is the new delta joint what I have to replace it with? Also any special tools I need to replace it? Can it be done on the vehicle?

 

You can order replacement 1" FK Uniballs or the Delta Joint retrofit kit. It can be done on vehicle, and ICON makes a good uniball press kit.

 

Can I just use a normal ball joint press tool, like the rental ones at Auto Zone?

 

I had to buy a uniball kit because none of the faces on my two bj kits would work for the uniballs. There's a special cup, an angled shim, and a two sided seat with different depths for install/remove. - here's pics.
