Over the past several months I had the Check Engine come on and then go off. When the light was on the code indicated an Exhaust problem. The past week or so the Battery light has come On and then go off. I have the vehicle checked and No problems were found. Has anyone else experience this problem? My Tacoma is a 2006 Quad Cab with the V6 motor with 216,000 miles.

I should also mention that the Cruise Control has quick working, and the Gas gauge low fuel light has stopped working. You can contact me here or at my direct e-mail jsparksipd@msn.com.

Would need to know what code(s) your dealing with to be much help but I doubt it's related to your charge warning light, cruise control, or fuel gauge, those are likely separate issues.

check your battery cable connections for starters. a loose or corroded battery connection can cause all sorts of unrepeatable sporadic issues.

Bad connections, low idle, weak battery, charging issues.
