    Hey guys,

purchased some stuff from my local dealership for my upcoming 50k mile maintenance. One thing on the list is power steering drain and fill. Just wanted to make sure this is the right power steering fluid? I know Toyota uses ATF Fluid. but not sure what the WS is. I’m sure the answer is yes but just wanna triple check before throwing fluid in the truck lol

It works, I've used WS many times, but ideally you use basic Dextron III

Stock wheels and suspension. Random "utilitarian" mods featured on this great forum.
I used Valvoline DEX/MERC (blue bottle) for my change. Meets the spec and is pretty cheap and available. I did a flush just in case.

My local dealers switched to Mobil ATF D+M stocked under the old SKU for power steering. "D+M" stands for Dexron+Mercon i.e. it's Mobil's version of the Valvoline fluid shown in Smacky2020's post.

WS fluid being thinner may increase the likelihood of steering rack leaks.
