What backspacing would you recommend for a GX460? -25 or +00

The +00 is the easier fit. The -25 is a wide stance and will require more work (trimming/body mount chop) to clear tires.

Regulations restrict paint in the lugs to allow for proper seating. With proper flanged acorn nuts, the lack of paint will not be seen

Will the typical 285/75/17 tire fit with these wheels in the sense of not having to do a lift on the new 2025 Taco's? I forgot the back spacing rule too. A negative offset pokes the wheels out more right? Looking at the 17x9 if I don't have to add a lift. Or just stay with the usual 17x8.5 if the 17x9's cause issues.

You'll probably want to do the 17x8.5 +00. The 17x9 -25 sticks out quite a bit and would most likely need some trimming.

Here are the -25's. This customer was leveled and ran a shorter 285/70R17

Thanks for the info. Do you know for a fact if indeed that customer had to do some lifting/trimming with the -25s?

Well no, they didn't have to trim. But they also raised the front and ran a shorter tire. So, I'm only guessing that no lift and a tire that is 1" bigger could rub but I'm not certain.
