lock conformation

I have a 2021 Tacoma. When I check to see if truck is locked by using the keyfob, the truck gives a somewhat quiet beep. I would like to find a way to make the "beep" louder. Maybe even have short burst of the horn? This would be useful when trying to locate my truck in a parking lot. Any help is appreciated.

 

I believe there are volume settings for the answer back.

The Carista app allows you to change all available settings. They are mostly the same or all 3rd Gens (attached).

Otherwise, you can try to beg a dealer to adjust them.

You might dig into the available settings also because I seem to remember being able to turn off the answer back before I used Carista or TechStream. See the owners manual.

Pretty sure you can adjust this in the vehicle settings on your infotainment

Try post #4 suggestion - that is where I did mine. The OP’s wish for the horn to make noise will be a custom thing.
