I’m posting today for a little help on my instrument cluster. 1996 Tacoma 3.6

While installing a horn my ADHD got the best of me and I took the instrument cluster out to clean it. While cleaning it I broke a few parts of the cluster. Combo dry rot, clumsy and rushing (glass cover, plastic trim for glass cover, speedometer needle, speedometer drive cable) I have been able to Frankenstein the parts off eBay and other 4Runners and tacomas in the area but now hit a crossroad and got it working again. I looked into just buying a new instrument cluster but my specific instrument cluster is stupid expensive/hard to find. Everything 1997+ is digital read vs mine is the roll style odometer.

I have access to a super cheap instrument cluster that fits perfect and in good condition but how would I hook up the speedometer drive cable from current set up to the new instrument cluster that is digital?

What bulbs did you put in the instrument cluster? I love the look/color and want to replicate these.

Around $26,000 worth of unleaded in the fuel tank.
Try car-part.com to locate a replacement cluster.

I got them off Amazon. Super easy to replace. I got the mix pack of green, red, blue, light blue, pink and white. I think it’s like $15 ish but you only need 4
