where did the XM icon go on my Entune 2 headunit?

I no longer see it on the screen. Did an update remove it?

 

Can to arrow to an additional Entune page? It is possible your icons re-ordered and XM might be on a second page.

 

Hope you figure out how this happened so I can recreate it! I’d be glad to have one less input to cycle through when I accidentally press, instead of hold, mode on the steering wheel trying to mute my music

 

nope it vanished from anywhere within Entune 2

This thread says to check all of your connectors on the back of the head unit. I like to unhook the Negative battery cable before poking around.

Thx, you know what, Ill try that... I might have pulled the radio in between the last time I had SXM, and maybe I never did plug it in.... I only just realized it was missing after the free trial period was announced.

 

Yep. That's going to be it. If the XM module isn't connected, the icon disappears.

 

While you're in there, pull that XM module out and stick in a wireless android auto unit. I just put a Hamilton Motor one in our Highlander and it's pretty slick.
