Up at 6, having coffee, getting ready for church. 2 services today, a city parade, and a BBQ at church. Should be a fun day of fellowship.

Getting ready for my annual Memorial day weekend of watching Auto racing

Right now watching the Pre race activities of the Formula 1 race from Monaco , The race will start at 0800hrs

Next will be the Indy 500 race

I usually watch the Nascar Cup Coca Cola 600 race from Charlotte motor speedway last . This race is now a pay per view race so now I can't watch it anymore

 

F1 and prune juice morning

 

Morning all:

Same here, watching the F1 race now, it's amazing how they manage to do 2-3 second pit stops for fuel and 4 tires.
I've watched more F1 races this year than ever, seems like they are marketing it a lot more than in the past.

 

Not sure why I watch Monaco other than just because it's F1. The rules man, the rules.

This is a hat handed out at one of the Cannonball races and signed by Brock Yates. My brother drove his '67 Shelby in it that year with C. Van Tune (editor of Motor Trend) as the copilot.

 

I had a Crawfish Bisque, and it was delicious. I also had fried alligator, and it too was delicious.

I would go back to the Spotted Cat Music Club in a heartbeat. 3 shows daily with the first one starting at 2pm. We stayed for the entire show. Then went to dinner at an Italian/Creole restaurant down the block. Wonderful way to spend the day.

Good afternoon. Going to a graduation party for a third cousin today. Going to be fun.

 

My Brother and SIL are awesome !!! , they know I'm bummed that Nascar is streaming the Coca Cola 600 race . They invited me to their house so I can watch it !!!!
