Lifted my Truck too much, will bigger wheels help?

Got a about a 3.5” lift which was more than expected.

now my wheels (265s) look so tiny and I have 24.5” from hub cap to my fender.

if I get 33s, (285 whatever) will this make my truck look more proportioned again? Thanks.

 

Your suspension will 'settle' over the first couple of weeks (depends on amount/type of driving). Give it some time, then see where you are.

 

This likely, unless you got the wrong kit. What did you install, 24.5” is 4.5” over stock, stock is roughly 22” rear, 20” front

 

4004 OME springs with nitrocharger plus. 588lb spring rate. U think 33s will make that gap 24.5 smaller ?

 

Forget the larger wheels for now, they will just cause even more problems. I'd be more worried about your CV axles and UCAs. 3" lift is basically max for both of those. At 3.5" you are basically guaranteed to have problems.

Why did you get the 4004 coils? IIRC, those are for trucks with ~200-300lbs extra weight up front.

 

already got new UCA installed. Mudify told me I’d get 2.8” lift ‍♂️ lol

 

Even with the lift you’ll likely have to do more work. Pinch weld. BMC. May need offsets. With your geometry changed that much need to think about ecgs bushing…etc

 

gross. Just remeasured. It’s actually
24” on driver side and 24.25” on passenger.

 

I would just move to Compton Ca.

 

It’s a lot, but the lift alone won’t clear 285/70-17’s. Or it didn’t for me at least.
