That's a pretty big fire. Put me on the nozzle and leave out the politics and I'd be good to go.

 

Morning folks

Wanted to clean up the truck a little bit yesterday since it goes in for state inspection today so I set off doing a quick vacuum and then went to fill a 5 gallon bucket of water to wipe down the interior. Soon as the water hit the bucket I noticed something off. Oh no, it smells like strait up pond water. Now this water is from my cistern so not going into the house, I just use it for the outside spigot. Ok, this is gross. Not using that to wipe down the interior.

Threw some shock in there, but will pick up some liquid chlorine here later. Not trying to get it to pool level, just not pond water smell. If that doesn't work it looks like I get to drain the entire thing, find a way to clean it, and get a water company to throw 2,000 gallons in there. Never had this problem before. It never was "clean" but didn't smell like the river

I had full intentions of pulling the VW in the shop yesterday and cleaning the sunroof drains. I remembered it this morning when I got in and both front seats were wet. I put the towel down and drove it to work, again. I'll try to remember to do it one day this week

 

It was bad. I found this on FB. Thankfully they protected all the businesses around it.

VW's and sunroofs do not get along at all

When I was looking for my GTI it was hard to find a dark blue, 6 speed manual, cloth seats, and no sunroof. Finally drove down to Springfield, VA to find one.

 

That's a lot of resources!

 

I'll try to fix it from leaking, if it keeps on I may just caulk it

Drones are pretty useful, especially in wildland fires. If the first responders are in control of the drone it's super helpful, but if it's a gawker that complicates things.

 

I'd like to have a thermal one for tracking deer
