Posted on 4Runners.com too but there doesn't seem to be much suspension discussion there.

Starting to look at suspension upgrades for when my stock shocks go out. 2023 4Runner SR5P with sliders, no plans for bumpers or full skids anytime soon. It's the wife's daily, the family roadtrip car. We'll do some mild wheeling together.

I've got Radflos all around on my 96 Tacoma and I love the ride, but I've heard great things about ADS too, and they're local.

The Radflos that seem to make sense for the 4Runner are the 2.0 Resis (I'd call and talk to Radflo before making the purchase). The ADS setup that seems to make sense is the 2.5 IFP Mesa series.

Is there a big difference between the two? From what I've read a 2.5 will be stiffer than a 2.0, but otherwise I'd think the oil volume and cooling would be similar.

I'm open to other brands, but I'm only interested in linear valved shocks, and Fox and King don't have what I'm looking for.

Looks like Radflo has 2.5 nonresi options for 5th gen 4Runners, so it comes down to how a 2.0 resi compares to a 2.5 nonresi I think.
