Definitely like the look of that! Can't complain about better MPG either. Been experimenting with the windshield height on the FJR and by running it down lower and wearing earplugs to help with the wind noise I got 46.1 MPG on Saturday which I'm very pleased with.

I'm at a point where the bonus locations are increasingly further away. Might have to make some overnight trips later this summer.

I've got hundreds of hours on Snowrunner on my switch! It's a good time, for sure. I'll get back to it at some point.

    Thanks for the props!

Earplugs: these were a game changer for me, with the added bonus that they stay in far better taking the helmet on/off.

Take about 10 minutes to make. Easy to clean with dish soap/water.

Yeah, google it. I can't go to gaming websites, so can't get much good links for you. Not even much in the line of gameplay pics.

Also landed a new helmet. My first Arai. Damn, sooooo nice. Hadn't needed or planned for a helmet this year, but a conversation with a moto bro, while he was in Japan, led to an impulse buy at pennies on the dollar vs US cost, and scored a helmet not sold in North America. Nothing too fancy about it, just a model they don't promote here for some reason. More of a retro style like the Bell Bullit or Sampson...but an Arai, so it's snell rated an crazy comfortable. I ride a naked bike, and a solid couple of hours on the slab at 'highway' speeds is required to get to the good roads from Indy. I was very happy with the lack of noise and buffeting, but those moldable earplugs are still great to have.

Known as the Rapide Neo in Asia or the Concept X in Europe. Fits with my category non-conforming GRiSO. If GRiSO were a human, it'd be they/them. lol.

We've had great luck with the Temu Loop earplug knockoffs. These are the solid ones, so let the least sound through (Loop have a hole or adjustment to let more or less sound through). They came with 3 sizes of the ear bud pieces. I can't stand riding without them. Makes the ride much more enjoyable, and no issue listening to my Cardo.

tbh i wouldnt say this is a real job lmao. you run around a map after a disaster build a shitty road fix some electrical stuffs and move some stuff around while off-roading in massive Russian vehicles lol. there is a lot more silly dumb shit that happens lmao.

also there is a lot more games then you think that are based off jobs like power wash simulator lmao

I'm sure they're cashing in on the years of folks playing MudRunner/SnowRunner that always wished they could have just fixed the horrific roads we had to drive on. I'll be interested to hear how @Calamity_taco like's RoadCraft. i've heard mixed things so far.

She may be older, lacking in electronics, and considered "boring" by some. But to me, she still looks good and brings a smile to my face every time I take her out. And with only 23,xxx miles on her, she's not even scratched the surface of the longevity curve; the FJR is known to easily go 150,000-200,000 miles with nothing but routine maintenance.

mudrunner/snowrunner and spintires are great games buuut its not the same sadly... each of those games you can modify the vehicles in the game in this game you cant. they are not able to modify to be offroad monsters really since you are working on roads and fixing info structure systems which can be fun and take hoooours!

the one thing that is annoying is only a few vehicles have a winch.. so you gotta use the crane vehicles a lot! overall thou its a blast to play and its really designed to play with friends. playing it by your self will take you legit hours to finish everything since each map has so much to do in it.

Purty. You'll get no beef about riding old bikes from me.

What year is it? Not sure why Blue always seems such an odd color for a bike, but it does!

Yeah.... I've always played alone. All of them would be more fun with others, but I also like the fact Snowrunner/Mudrunner were good to just sorta play leisurely and sometimes with only half your attention. Used to listen to audio books with my wife while playing with the sound off. Not like you needed sound on that game, lol. Can be pretty relaxing just trudging along in the mud or snow for 30 minutes each way moving a load of logs or whatever.

Definitely no motorcycles in that game... maybe they need a TW200 modded in.

Bummer to hear that about no modding the vehicles and such. That's some of what I've heard people aren't happy about. We want the old mechanics, PLUS road building.
